With so many summer internships canceled in the wake of the pandemic, Indoor Recess sought to give junior ad professionals another opportunity to flex their creative and strategic muscles – a virtual pitch competition. Twitch provided a creative brief for all 10 teams to tackle over the next two weeks, and various ad agencies supplied mentors, guest speakers, and judges.
After countless Zoom meetings, Slack gifs, and Google docs, our team (the Blockbois) submitted the final presentation and breathed a sigh of relief across all three of our timezones. Though our pitch didn’t win, I adored working with my team and I’m incredibly proud of the work we created together.
