Job boards are a difficult beast to tame – continuous growth is absolutely necessary, as you need enough qualified talent to keep employers satisfied, and vice versa. Employers tend to be the more challenging users to attract, as using a new job board requires trust and time investment in both the candidates and the platform.
Building this trust is crucial to bringing employers on board, so we decided to carefully craft a B2B content strategy around our employer audience and the challenges of hiring. To gain a more varied perspective, I conducted in-depth interviews with both employers and talent.
From my investigations, I discovered that most employers want to streamline the process as much as possible. Their ideal journey is quickly posting a position, matching with qualified candidates, and filling the role as soon as possible, so we mirrored that in our web content.
